These Narcissi are mid-sized. 8"- 16"in height, have a compact growth habit and bloom April-May under outdoor conditions. They typically produce several gracefully nodding-flowers per stem, with reflexed perinanth and extended cup. Their fragrance and fine strong upward foliage makes them very suited for containers. They prefer moist soil conditions and naturalize splendidly in semi-shaded areas.

The best known cultivar from this group is Tete a Tete. It blooms early and is most commonly greenhouse grown in the winter time, to produce Indoor Pots. Cyclamineus Narcissi are also great for cold-tolerant Outdoor Containers, to bring early spring color to patios, balconies and decks. Among all Daffodils, Cyclamineus are consisted the best perenializers. Even when re-planted after blooming in Containers into the garden, they will continue to grow and bloom in subsequent years. Whereas most Daffodils perform best in full sun and well drained soil, Cyclamineus types can tolerate partial shade and more moisture to perennialize in a garden.
